1st Guitar session of Sami Saarinen

We will start to record guitars in october 2008
Sami have that new Ruokangas custom made 7-string beauty and it sounds good...
Häussel picks and floyd rose parts will give to Sami a little more possibilities to play.
We are going to use MJK's new home studio "Cat Piss Studio" at the first time.
Pro Tools based hardware and software.

Etsittiin soundia ja löytyihän se sieltä. Mesan kakkoskanava ja vintage-dippiasento sekä silicone diodit pelissä. Kohtuullisen kovalla luukuttuksella ja kanavagain sopivalla.
Äänitettiin kahta biisiä, SM14 ja Fade away. Sekin kuullostaa ihan erilaiselta 7-kielisellä soitettuna. Rankkaa murinaa on sen sointi.

The beginning...Drums of mr. Pilve

Hell yeah !

We spent some time in Matrixtor Studio ( june 2008) and Rolf Pilve did all drums of album in one session. It took only 12 hours, but incredible Pilve played like a machine.
Now we have drums for seven songs. Matrixtor's engineer Lauri Malin uses Pro Tools HD and there was one very good sounding recording mixer too. Soundgraft's Sappire with nice eq's. Sound is very dynamic and there are cool ambience too.

Rolf used KUMU's Rolf Pilve custom drum set:
